With a lifetime of experience and a heart that’s still burning with the message of Jesus Christ, he’s just getting started on a new chapter of ministry—sharing devotionals, teachings, and messages that inspire a global audience.

Steve and his wife, Denice, began Christian Life Church in their Montgomery, Alabama home in 1980. What started small grew into a church of thousands, and is now three thriving campuses in Alabama and Mississippi.

Married nearly 60 years, with four children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, Steve is passionate about helping people strengthen their faith, lead with integrity, pursue the dream in their heart with passion and perseverance, and finish strong.
